Where is the best spot to catch the Santorini sunset?

I broke down Santorini in 3 parts: Fira, Imerovigli and Oia. People have asked me where to go to find the best view of the famed Santorini sunset. Let me show you instead.

We waited for more than an hour to catch the sunset and to get a good spot.

Here we go!

 
There is a reason why this shot is the iconic Santorini sunset. It is spectacular. The way the sun hits the caldera is sheer perfection. This is a post card worthy shot and I am damn proud of it. When the sun did set, the crowd burst into applause thanking Mother Nature for the great show.

To see is to believe and without a doubt, Oia offers the best sunset spot.
