I jokingly call this the UAAP school tour series since this were my 5th and 6th stop. (Check out my visits to Ateneo, La Salle, UP Diliman, and UST).

Did you know, there’s a Christmas décor shop in the heart of the city that’s been supplying to major US department stores (Think Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, etc)? This OG shop has been around since 1987 and creates beautifully designed decorations whose quality lasts for decades.

We wanted a slower paced last 2 days in Iloilo because the heat was next level. The heat index was hitting 44-49! If you’re short on time, you can totally combine the adventures of days 4 and 5 into one Amazing-Race-kinda-day.

The goal was to see the UNESCO World Heritage Site Miagao Church. Anything else we can do in the area is a bonus. We could have commuted but after the tiring first 2 days we opted to take a private tour instead.

I got interested in Brutalist Architecture when I chanced upon the Brutalist Pilipinas Page last year. It took some time but my friends and I were finally able to drop by the Atrium along Makati Avenue. Honestly did not know something like this existed so was pretty surprised it was under our noses all along.

Corner House is not like any community mall or establishment in the metro. It’s bemusing to see what it is now knowing what it looked like before. The patch of land used to be a restaurant and now it’s a massive structure designed beautifully.

I take my love for travel to another level by bringing it with me this holiday season. If you’re a hoarder like me, you have a lot of maps from your travels. Why not do something nice with them this year?

Are you guys still here? I won't make promises but I am trying to be a better blogger. Let's start with something that's close to my heart - art!
If you follow me on Instagram, you know what I’m talking about. The last week of May saw the BGC area light up with creative energy thanks to the ONE Festival – a week-long festival celebrating murals and street art through the works of 8 brilliant artists from the Philippines and other parts of the world.
It’s refreshing to see this form of art being accepted in the streets of our country. Others may think these murals as graffiti but they are not. I hope more walls be adorned with gorgeous murals.

This article will illustrate how backlogged I am with writing. Hue Love Prints launched new designs last March and I am blogging about it just now. Are you ready for more colorful goodness?

I am a late IGer, I only opened an account last year. It has opened my world to a diverse spectrum of people and visuals. I like discovering people on IG with the same interests. Their images serve as a reminder and inspiration for me.
This is the first of a series. I follow some IG accounts that are worth sharing. This first installment features Lifestyle IG accounts.

After Riana's 13th Birthday AVP, I was able to work on her friend Dayan's debut invitation, Riana and Dayan met through skating. Besides the sport, Dayan is passionate about performing, dancing and singing thus her Broadway themed invitation.

This plastic drawer set has been with me since 2004, it looks might good for its age right? Today, I’m showing you a simple way to spruce things up! This DIY project has either my Mom’s idea or my idea. I bought this plastic container for my desk when I had a full time office based job. The container would hold important things like keys and at time money – only a few people knew about its contents. We came up with this execution to prettify my container and hide the contents at the same time.

One of my best friends and business partner, Owee transferred to New Zealand last year. She left our black and white baby Blonde Fish with me while she started a new adventure with her husband in the land of sheep.
My fave lifestyle photographer has been busy setting up shop in her new home. She focused on the type of photography she wanted to specialize in and Cartwheel Images was born. As part of her rebranding, Owee asked me to help her create her welcome guide. What is a welcome guide you may ask? It’s a pack that Owee sends to her clients to get to know Owee and her services. It showcases her cheery and moving photos as well.

Allow me to put my geek hat on. I have a soft spot for design but I don’t know how to draw to save my life. I turn to the computer to allow me to put the visuals in my mind to life.
I’ve always had a passion for typography, perhaps it’s because I can’t draw so I turn to text instead. I’ve been following Isabel Gatuslao's work for years and I am fascinated with it. I love how she shows us her work process and even the slightest different in typography or curve can make a massive difference. I learned a lot from reading her blog entries and one of the lessons I got was making a branding board.

Last June, I was busy designing for Hue Love Prints. Coupled with a rather light work load, this phase triggered a more abundant flow of creative juices than normal. For my sister’s birthday this year, I decided to wrap her gift in a more interesting way than normal – I used 2 gift wrappers with different patterns to change things up.

* Pardon the photo quality; these were all taken with my phone.
On a Tuesday morning, I found myself in Makati for an important appointment. I’m not a Makati girl or a morning person so putting the two together isn’t my kind of party. I do however know some of the walkways which made the trip to Makati worth it, I like walking remember?
