Fira: Photoblog
Thursday, February 18, 2016
I seriously have a lot of Santorini photos than I do words thus the photoblog. Enjoy Fira!
P.S. I am not religious but during the trip, I was going through something. It was important to me to hear mass during my vacation. I thought the church was closed and was disappointed. I had the surprise of my life when it was actually open and it’s a St. John Baptist Church (Animo!). How awesome is that? So meant to be! The non-Church going me was even asked to be a reader. How can you say no to the priest right? I was so nervous because it would be too embarrassing to screw up the word of the Lord. It was magical to hear mass in a different country where the mass was bi-lingual and had missalettes in different languages. You could also see the different practices around the world as people sat, stood up and knelt at different parts. I knew the couple in front of me was Filipino because (1) they looked Filipino and (2) we were the only ones who stood up at a certain part of the mass.
