A Taste of Legazpi City and Daraga Albay

I didn’t have high expectations for the city tour because I was there to see the island resort. Nonetheless, it exceeded my expectations (and budget) because I immensely enjoyed my glimpse of Legazpi and Daraga.

It rained when we arrived in Legazpi City and I was worried we wouldn’t enjoy the city tour. Together with the other guests, we were welcomed on the tour by our guide Carl upon our arrival. Our first stop was Ligñon Hill – the highest point in the city.

Misibis Bay, are you ready for me?

Last summer, I scored another awesome deal from Deal Grocer – stay for 4 at Misibis Bay! Like Bellarocca, Misibis Bay is a luxury island resort waaaaayyyy above my pay grade. Don’t you just love Deal Grocer?? I do, I do!

This is my second luxe vacation so I couldn’t help but compare it to Bellarocca. I was with fellow Bellarocca vacationer Berenice, her friend Mye and constant travel buddy – Danix. I will limit Bellarocca references because at the end of this series, I will be pitting the 2 island resorts against each other.

Mixed Feelings at Maple Shangri-la

Oh yeah, it’s another restaurant with breakfast food. I’ve been meaning to check out Maple in Makati but haven’t had the chance to head there. Imagine my delight when they opened a branch in the new East Wing of Shangri-la Mall! 

To add good vibes to the day, Maple Shang had a tie up with Citibank wherein cardholders would get 50% off on their bill. Double yay. I was disappointed to see that Maple (and most of the new wing) was dark – they didn’t have a lot of natural light.

I absolutely love The Beauty Department. I don’t use make up every day but with the site’s easy and user friendly articles, it made me want to try it out. It is my go to site especially for hair.
