A wonderland for foodies: Tyrokomia Naxou

Wednesday, April 23, 2014

On our first day exploring Naxos, we came across Tyrokomia Naxou. Yes, Tin and I love to eat and we couldn’t stop grinning because of all the goodies we saw inside the shop. The catch, we couldn’t take any home because of the shelf life. It pained me not to take anything home. I will shop vicariously through others who will read this post and get to shop at Tyrokomia Naxou.

Tyrokomia Naxou is a specialty shop with the best items the island offers. Their main product is the traditional Naxos Cheese created by the owners.

They have so much merchandise: olives, spices, wine, chocolates, olive oil, biscuits and sssssooooo much more.

If I could take any of them home, I would have bought some olives, olive oil, spices and with bias – chocolate.

A visit to Tyrokomia Naxou is a must if you are in Naxos.
