Readily available Schlurp Bottled Milk Tea

The milk tea craze continues. I’ve been a fan of the drink even before it became “trendy’ which is why tried to expose myself to different brands. During one of my trips to 7-11 the packaging of this bottle caught my attention, Schlurp.

Earl Grey Tea

Assam

The clear cut way to differentiate the 2 flavors is simply like so: the Earl Grey Tea will appeal to western tea palettes while the Assam Black Tea will please the eastern palettes. Talk about batting for both teams. Haha The Schlurp Milk Teas will seem bland compared to “industry giants” but if you’re the type of person who wants just a hint of milk tea in their lives, you may enjoy this brand. The milk teas come with jellies which you will only get to gulp when you are halfway through the bottle thanks to gravity. Their jellies, like their milk tea, is on the bland side and has a rubbery texture.

I do like their packaging and branding. For P59 and 200 calories, would you chug Schlurp? I can’t really vouch for the relaxing and anti oxidants it claims to have because I didn’t finish in one sitting. I would sip the milk teas throughout the day. If I have an insane milk tea craving and all I have is the convenient 7-11, I wouldn’t mind spending some dough for Schlurp.
