3 reasons to stay at Red Planet Cebu City

Tuesday, July 12, 2016

I was in Cebu to relax and unwind at Nalusuan Island. Before jetting off for some vitamin sea, I stayed in the city to basically eat. We wanted a comfortable and affordable place to stay at since we were just in town for a day. What made us pick Red Planet Hotel?

Location
Being 2 blocks away from Ayala Center is an extremely convenient perk to have. It's the main reason that sealed the deal for us. It was fairly easy for us to do errands in Ayala, eat Lechon, and go around the city. There is a transportation terminal in Ayala which makes commuting easier. We took a cab going around the city and it was easy to get one from Red Planet.

Extra bonus points because the hotel was walking distance to CNT Lechon inside Ayala Center and the beautiful Rico’s Lechon on Acacia Street.

Comfort
The hotel offers very basic amenities but it was the minimum we needed. We had cozy beds, a strong and hot shower, and enough space for our things. The room was simple and had modern fixtures.

Value for Money
Some people may argue that for a night in the city we could have spent less than P1,600 for a room for two without breakfast and basic needs. For the price we paid for, the location and coziness of the room is perfect for what we spent. I booked the hotel via Agoda making reserving so much easier.

Considering this is a budget hotel, the staff and team treated their guests like they were billeted in a more expensive hotel. They were always eager to help and were constantly friendly. Even if I had more time in the city I wouldn’t mind booking Red Planet again for the reasons mentioned above.
