1. Lip Balm
This has a cute story. I inherited a mobile cabinet in my first job. One of the items inside was a tub of lip balm from Body Shop. It stayed in the mobile and was shared with others. It may sound gross but it’s not. It was shared by 4 or 5 people with amazing hygiene. Since then, I’ve added this item to my list of essentials.
2. Alcohol
Even if you clean your desk every day, it can still get filthy. Alcohol comes in handy when you just handled money and feel too lazy to wash your hands.
3. Lotion
Alcohol is effective in cleaning but it can dry your hands. A lot of offices are pretty chilly and you need to keep moisturized.
4. Facial Wash
If you’re a commuter like me, you’ll need this. Who wants to feel sticky and sweaty at the start of your day? No one. Freshen up before tackling your work duties.
5. Cologne
In relation to the previous item, you may want to stash this in your desk as well. It will come in handy during a lot of times.
6. Baby Powder
Some people are surprised I still use baby powder. This is a big help when I travel because it’s a quick way to freshen up during dugyut travels. Same with the office because there are days when I’d be busy shooting or running around for errands.
I’m not including the usual essentials like toothbrush, toothpaste, etc since its common. What are your office kikay essentials?
