Gianetto opens in Parqal Mall Parañaque

We were hungry after spending hours at Big Bad Wolf. There isn’t much open at Parqal yet and we looked for a restaurant that was new to us.

Here are some snaps from Parqal while we were looking for a restaurant.

Italian is always a staple for our family and we found ourselves gravitating towards Gianetto.

Gianetto's Salad (P490)
Anchovies, Romaine Lettuce, Grapes, Mangoes, Tomatoes, Croutons, Crispy Wonton Strips, Vinaigrette

Pepperoni N Cream (P590)
Tomato Sauce, Premium mozzarella, Pepperoni, Cream cheese and Parmesan
The pizza looked deceivingly light but this packs a punch. It is literally heavy for what it looks and had the right balance of saltiness and creaminess. Adding chili and honey is a must as it gives a dimension of flavor to the pizza.

Blue Steak Risotto (P748)
USDA Steak Strips, arborio rice, blue cheese
Hands down our favorite this was our favorite dish, every component was stellar. Brie cheese has the tendency to overpower a dish and thankfully it played a complimentary role to the steak.  This dish had the right amount of umami that will keep you coming back for more.

They were still on soft opening when we visited and it was evident. We were there for dinner on a weekday and they were understaffed. There were delays in service but the staff did their very best to work with the situation and still serve with a positive energy. Birth pains like this are normal and we didn’t mind.

Honestly the portions looked small when the dishes arrived but they were all filling. We had a good dinner and look forward to visiting Gianetto once more.

PS We had dessert at Dylan Patisserie after having dinner at Gianetto.
