Unique Pinoy coffee at Habagat Coffee and Outdoor Lifestyle
Saturday, April 27, 2024Habagat has been on my radar for a while and I’m excited I finally dropped by. It’s an al fresco spot tucked away in one of Kapitolyo quieter streets. It stands out for its inventive Filipino inspired coffee and cocktails.
Espresso + condensed milk
It’s near Vietnamese coffee standards and fit the bill of strong coffee with the right amount of sweetness.
Bacon bits on olive oil, pesto sauce, parmesan, chili flakes (optional)
Iced. Espresso + latik + coconut milk
It really tastes like latik! Which when you think about it is not a far stretch since coconut milk works well with coffee too.
Pork Adobo, scrambled eggs, garlic rice, atchara
Corned Beef Sandwich (P220)
With scrambled egg, tomato, cucumber on the side
Habagat offers the usual café food but it’s on the average side. I have yet to try their cocktails though. It’s their coffee I’m a fan of and will be back for. Come for the coffee, leave with a smile on your face.
