Corner Café + Deli is a must in Banawe

Friday, February 09, 2024

Banawe is a foodie area. One of the things that is hard to find there is parking. One of my friends recommended Corner Café + Deli when I asked for great food with parking in the area. It’s located at the corner, thus the name, which explain the generous-for-Banawe-standards parking. Lol

It’s a cosy little spot that has been on the list of coffee addicts I know.

Sea Salt Latte (P190), Cafe Mocha (P180), Spanish Latte (P180), Matcha Latte (P165)
For my standards, I would call these close to BGC prices so I was a tad surprised to see it in Banawe. I only tried the Sea Salt Latte but man, that’s legit coffee – the price is understandable. Coffee is strong and the sea salt foam definitely adds the sweet dimension to the drink without overpowering it.

Egg Drop Sandwiches (P155-245)
They’re actually known for these so 4 in our group ordered different flavors. Must say what stood out for me was their homemade brioche buns and special sauce – these are the 2 things that will make you come back for more.

Rib Eye Tapa (P350)

We visited on a weekend and it was full. We were just lucky that a table freed while we were waiting. Have you tried Corner Deli + Café? What was your favorite?
