A layover in Malaysia Part 3

Check out Parts 1 and 2 before reading below.

From Putrajaya Sentral, we boarded a 45 minute bus headed for one of the Putra LRT stations. I don’t remember which one exactly but if you find that line, you’ll be fine since KLCC is part of the Putra LRT line hence travel was easy!

It was getting dark when we arrived at KLCC. Since it was Danix’s first visit, we gave her the floor. Shoot and pose as much as you want! We spent a good 15 minutes here before dragging our exhausted bodies to the mall and bee lined for the information counter.

I got awful news when I found out Lecka Lecka closed its kiosk at KLCC. The girls knew how badly I wanted the infamous cold treat and were gracious enough to offer heading to the nearest branch. Though the gesture was touching, it would eat up our time and energy. We took our leisure time loitering este exploring KLCC and having dinner instead.

When I saw Vincci, my eyes lit up. This is it, it’s hoarding time! After 5 minutes, I had my sad face on. The universe conspired with my wallet; I didn’t see anything I loved and walked away empty handed. Such a contrast from my 4 pair haul (7 if you include pasalubongs! Haha) in 2007.

If you’re in KLCC, pass by Bisou Bake Shop on the third floor. It felt familiar yet seductive. Surprisingly this sweet tooth was able to resist temptation and didn’t buy anything.

This sweet tooth loved every morsel of it.

Drool now.

From KLCC it was trouble-free to make your way to the airport. Our only problem was we almost didn’t have enough ringgit for the ride. Hahaha Take the Putra LRT from the KLCC station and get off at KL Sentral.  At KL Sentral, switch lines and take the KLIA Transit back to the airport.

I acknowledge that our layover itinerary was light and that we didn’t make the most out of our time by seeing a gabagillion places. I’m cool with that; we wanted a slow pace anyway. Malaysia has more to offer and I want to explore the other provinces! I was never excited about revisiting Malaysia but this trip changed all that.

Terima Kasih Malaysia!
