Travel the Philippines with Our Philippines

The New Year means new travel plans for everyone! Haha Though it hasn’t been launched officially, but is “the first internet travel TV station in the country”. It is the passion project of Sir Mike Marasigan who I’ve been fortunate to work with.

As printed on their website, Sir Mike “is considered one of the country’s online journalism innovators. Marasigan went “online” in 1995 when he pioneered BusinessWorld Online shortly after he helped establish the newspaper. This was one of the first online newspapers in the world, making him the first online editor in the Philippines. In 2004, he also ventured into television by becoming an independent producer for the Living Asia Channel where he came out with travelogues. Travel and tourism, after all, has always been his passion. Finally, in 2005, he set up his communications company, InformationArchitects, Inc. (InfoArc), which gave birth to in 2008.”

Read his story here as published on Through his work, he was able to go all over the Philippines and now shares his discoveries with the world. The places that Sir Mike has been to aren’t even on the radar of other travel bloggers or writers. Before Rep. Manny Pacquaio put Sarangani on the map, I was able to go and experience the place thanks to my work with Sir Mike. I also discovered two places in Clark, the Puning Hot Springs (I have yet to blog about the place haha) and deliciously witty Papa’s Good Boy Pizza (click on the link! Am boy, Call boy? What’s your type of boy? Haha) because of OurPhil. is still on its soft launch and do expect more exciting, interesting and fabulous destinations that our beautiful country has to offer.

And yes, 2 of my adventures (Iloilo and Guimaras) have been republished in the “Traveller’s Tales” section. Thankie OurPhil!
