A Malate Favorite Lands in Mega: First Impressions of Latitude Bean + Bar

Wednesday, December 17, 2025

Latitude Bean + Bar finally opened in SM Megamall and it feels like a familiar favorite. I first tried them in Malate, so seeing this branch pop up in a bigger, busier spot feels like a natural step.

The space is bright, relaxed, and easy to settle into if you want a quick pause in the middle of Mega. Food will be available soon, so for now the focus is on the drinks that made people love them in Malate.

Amber Cloud (P200)
cold brew with OJ, cream and zest
If you like coffee with a citrus twist, this one hits the right balance. It tastes like an orange creamsicle layered with coffee and has the boldest flavor among everything we tried. I recommend saving it for last so the stronger notes don’t overpower the others.

Remedios (P220)
black sesame
A black sesame drink that goes down easy and delivers a warm, earthy profile. It is quieter compared to the Amber Cloud, but the flavor is full and comforting. Best to drink this early in your lineup so the more intense options do not drown out the delicate sesame notes.

Pilar (P220)
cinnamon oat milk
A smooth blend of cinnamon, oat milk, and espresso that drinks like a gentler take on a cinnamon roll. Comforting without being heavy.

Hojicha Latte
For my second Hojicha Latte ever, this one made a stronger impression. Nutty and smooth with a toasty finish, it is a solid choice if you want a non-coffee drink.

Malate (P180)
spanish latte
If Spanish Latte is your usual order, this is an easy one to add to your rotation. Sweet, balanced, and comforting, it delivers exactly what you want from a classic.

It's was clear why people follow them from Malate. The drinks are solid, the vibe is relaxed, and there is even creator gear from Henry’s Camera if you want a little window shopping with your latte. Once the food menu rolls out, this spot will only get better.
