New in Ortigas Center: Weekday Coffee

I love discovering independent cafes and restos. Weekday Coffee opened last September in Ortigas Center. If you blink you might miss it so check out their IG highlights to find out how to get there.

It’s a cosy place with spot on branding. Their iced coffees are 12 oz with 2 shots of espresso. (Side kwento: I recently discovered this is my minimum for iced coffee. No wonder other brands are watered down for me. Back to the feature)

I tried their White Chocolate Mocha, Spanish Latte, and Mocha since they opened. I must say their coffee is not on the sweet side but on the coffee side. Gets? Lol It’s not milky either. I could taste the coffee and some of the white mocha but without my usual sweetness which is a good thing. I like their coffee but I find the flavoring lacking so if I do a blind taste test, it might be challenging for me to differentiate the 3.

ATM they have regular drinks but I do hope they can create unique, brand exclusive drinks also.

The Sisig was good on the crunchy side but their serving size was bitin for me. Would have loved some toyo + calamansi to go with it.
