Watch Atlantis Productions’ Little Mermaid on November 18
Thursday, October 06, 2011I would call myself a mid range theater watcher. I can’t say I’m a theater buff or a non-theater fan – I’m muddled in the middle. My friend Tin is a theater fan; she loves to watch almost all of the plays that are showing. I on the other watch mostly musicals or if the actor is my fave.
When Tin told me that Atlantis had plans of staging Disney’s the Little Mermaid, I knew it was one musical I couldn’t miss. A bit of clarification, several years ago, Trumpets came out with their version of Little Mermaid. The Trumpets version has the same storyline but has different characters. This time, Atlantis is bringing in the Ariel-Flounder-Prince Eric version we’ve loved on the big screen! I CANNOT wait for the production design of this musical! Expect to see Rachelle Ann Go as Ariel and Eric Santos as Prince Eric.
Let’s all go “Under the Sea” and watch the opening night together! Bring your friends, family, the kids, your grandparents = EVERYBODY! The Little Mermaid is one musical we will all enjoy. I’m excited to hear the Disney songs and sing-a-long and see this generation of kids fall in love with the Little Mermaid story I fell in love with when I was a kiddo.
I’m selling tickets for the November 18 (Friday) show at 8 PM. If interested, email me - angkaladkarin@gmail.com. Please do watch and spread the word! Ticket prices are affordable. Reserve your tickets now!
