P85 Compression Bags from Saizen

Monday, May 30, 2011

I’ve been preparing for something big this September. I’m such a girl…to prepare for the trip I’ve thought of different things I needed (or wanted) which gives me the license to shop. But wait, this one is actually a serious need! Haha

My friend Pow is a seasoned and experienced traveler. She suggested I get Eagle Creek’s compression bags. I haven’t been able to do the proper research yet so I didn’t buy one. I did see compression bags at Saizen for P85 (approximately $1.89) though. How cheap! But, how does it measure up?

The Instructions

The pack came with 2 compressions bags. The packaging does say that you should only put a number of items inside to maximize the product. This one says it can only accommodate 2 sweatshirts, ang onti! Pasaway ako, mas marami linagay ko. Haha

Bag 1: Board shorts, tank top and a dress
The compression was considerable and successful.

Bag 2: Denim shorts, 3 tanks and a sarong
I think I overdid it. Haha The compression was minimal and it was a tad difficult to roll the pack.

For P85 it’s not bad, you get what you pay for. I’m just curious - do compression bags normally carry this little? If they do, I don’t think I’m a fan. Haha I would like a compression bag that can carry more items inside. How are compression bags supposed to be? I’ve seen some that cost an arm and a leg, are they THAT magically?

What’s the best compression bag for you and how does it perform? Please let me know!
