I recently heard about Tiger Air's Manila hub and when I received the promo alert, I wanted to check it out if it were for real. The hub is real and the sale is real.
To see is to believe, Manila (via NAIA) to Singapore for just $76 (at P44=$1, that's P3,344) Booking period is until December 8, 2010.
I've flown Air Phil once going to Iloilo and I wouldn't mind using it again. It is backed by PAL so I'm pretty at ease with this airline.
When Asian Spirit was transitioning to Zest Air we booked flights to Batanes, one of my dream (as in I thought it wasn't possible kinda dream) destination. Batanes wasn't as popular as it is now and it felt so elusive because of the price. To make a long story short, they majorly screwed up. They canceled our flights twice without informing us. I was on the verge of suing them if the problem wasn't resolved.
My point? They're on sale too and it's up to you if you'd like to book with them.
